Åsa Eldén

Åsa Eldén has more than twenty-five years of experience as a researcher, policy specialist, educator, and consultant. She forms part of the steering group for the Uppsala University research environment on sexual corruption and holds a PhD in Sociology. Åsa has developed her expertise at the intersection of theory and practice, working across academia, public agencies, civil society organisations, and private companies in Sweden and internationally. Her clients include the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Sida (The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency), the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA), the Expert Group for Aid Studies (EBA), the Swedish Institute, the U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre, Nordic Consulting Group, Hyper Island, Civil Rights Defenders, and Terrafem.

Dolores Calvo

Dolores Calvo is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Government at Uppsala University and holds a PhD in Sociology. She is part of the steering group of the Uppsala University research environment on sexual corruption and works as a consultant with a focus on gender equality. Dolores has extensive experience in translating research into practice, conducting policy analyses, reviews, mappings, and evaluations, leading change processes, and developing policy recommendations. Her clients include EBA, FBA, U4, ForumCiv, Roks, Terrafem, Young Women’s Shelter, Somaya, and Färnebo Folk High School.

Silje Lundgren

Silje Lundgren is Associate Professor of Gender Studies at Linköping University and forms part of the steering group of the Uppsala University research environment on sexual corruption. Her research focuses on sexual abuse of power within law enforcement, focusing on Sweden and Scandinavia. Silje has extensive experience in collaboration with government agencies, civil society organisations, and cultural institutions. She has held several assignments translating research into practice to tackle societal challenges. Silje got her PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Uppsala University in 2011.

Elin Bjarnegård

Elin Bjarnegård is a leading researcher in the field of gender and corruption, with over twenty years of experience. She heads the research environment on sexual corruption at Uppsala University. Her research has resulted not only in academic publications but in practical applications. Elin is frequently invited as a speaker within and beyond academia, and has given talks for organisations such as UN Women, Transparency International, and the OSCE. She has served as an expert and evaluator for institutions including the Expert Group for Aid Studies (EBA), Sida, and DEval, and has participated in expert group meetings with UN Women and in research and policy dialogues both in Sweden and internationally.
